Yes, as the admin on your account, you can alter what appears on the donor scroll. Specifically, you can:
- Remove the donor's name, so they appear as "anonymous"
- Remove the donation amount
- Edit or remove the donor's note (you may want to do this if it has a typo, is inappropriate, or the donor intended for it to be a private message)
You
cannot completely remove the gift from the scroll itself. It will, at the very least, appear as:
To edit an item on the donor scroll:
- Log in to your administrative account (e.g. at https://my-non-profit-organization.networkforgood.com/admins/sign_in). You should now be on your My Campaigns page, where all of your active campaigns are listed.
- From the People tab at the top of your page, click Donors/Fundraisers.
- Search for the donor whose donor scroll item you would like to edit (e.g. start typing in "John" if you want to find "John Doe"). Select that donor from the drop-down that appear after you start typing in characters.
- From the Donor Overview page, click the button Edit next to the order number of the donation you want to edit.
- On the edit page, look for the section Privacy Settings. Edit the text field Note or Dedication and/or check or uncheck the boxes that read: "Post my donation amount", "Post my name", and "Share my information with the individual fundraiser". Click Save anywhere on this page to publish the updates.
- Go back and view your campaign page to confirm that the changes were made!
Congratulations, you've successfully removed the donor's name, amount, and/or donation scroll message from your page!
